The director of the Russian KB

They will not be able to do their own: why in Russia copy Ukrainian drone "sorcerer" (video)

The director of the Russian KB "Spectrum" acknowledged that in the near future students of one of the colleges will learn to produce copies of UAV captured in Ukraine. In Russia, students of Novosibirsk Aviation Technical College will learn to copy unmanned aircraft using the Ukrainian Dron "Chaklun", which was brought to the country as a trophy from the war zone. TASS wrote about it on Friday, September 29. Andriy Bratrenkov, the executive director of the design bureau "Spectrum".

He believes that teaching work with technologies on the example of a drone brought from Ukraine should be interested in students and increased their motivation for learning. "The spectrum has accepted the production practice of applicants of the Novosibirsk Aviation Technical College and prepares them for work in the field of unmanned aviation.

The Media Defense Express, for its part, notes that the precedent with the "sorcerer" in the Russian Federation will not remain single and soon almost all dronouting will not switch to the production of own drones, but to copying already existing models produced in other countries. "At the developers level, they already have a great prospect in which the industry will find themselves in the future through sanction isolation, which allows to implement only one way - copying.

It actively goes to Iran and the DPRK," the media said. The reconnaissance unmanned aviation complex (BPAC) "Witch" was created in the Dnieper at the end of 2022. The drone was named, since he was already able to successfully resist the means of radio electronic struggle of Russian invaders from the first launches. Recall that a few days earlier, the Solovey Group 116th Separate Brigade of Territorial Defense forces showed how it uses BPAC "Witch" to identify the enemy air defense system.
