According to the President of the National Paralympic Committee of Ukraine Valery Sushkevich, he has already officially announced the incidents of the head of the International Paralympic Committee to make the Russians comments. Athletes from Russia provoked members of the Ukrainian national team at the Paralympics-2024, which began on August 28 in Paris. According to Sushkevich, there were already several very unpleasant cases in Paris. The Russians try to offend Ukrainians in two ways: "Both variants are nasty and cause a unambiguous reaction of our athletes. The only thing here is not to provoke, because there will be a disqualification of the Ukrainian athlete," Sushkevich said. He specified that he met with the President of the International Paralympic Committee and officially informed him of such provocations.

"I spoke about this to the President of the International Paralympic Committee that they are getting ready. You will make them a remark because there will be trouble," Sushkevich stressed. It should be noted that according to the results of three competitive days, Ukraine occupies 20 steps in the overall medal standings. Ukrainian athletes won one gold, nine silver and nine bronze medals.
