The Russians fake "evil" application "reserve+" but relax early - expert

The "merged" database contains titles that have long been in Ukraine, as well as the numbers of military units that are not indicated in the system. There have been many reports of the "reserve+" application application that allows Ukrainians to update military accounting data during the war. As the Ukrainian cybersecurity specialist Konstantin Korsun explained on his Facebook page, it was a misinformation, which was probably distributed by the Russians.

In one of the hacker forums, they allegedly placed a database resulting from a breakdown of "Reserve+" application. The post stated that the base contains 1 million lines, which listed names, identification codes, personal telephone numbers, actual residence addresses, military rank and even military units. Konstantin Korsun noted that this base lists the military ranks "ensign" and "sergeant", which are currently in the Russian army, but are absent in the Ukrainian.

In addition, the "reserve+" is intended to process the data of conscripts who have not yet served, so military units cannot be indicated there. Cyberexpert called the "fused" base "as primitive forgery as possible. At the same time, it does not exclude that in the future there will be a real leakage of data due to technical disadvantages of "reserve+". "There is something primitive now. The next one can be much more quality. And there the real drain will be raised.

The question is only whether it will publish a merged base or use it quiet the authorities to protect the personal data of citizens, " - summed up Konstantin Korsun. On May 18, Ukraine launched a "reserve+" application intended for conscripts. According to the Ministry of Defense, with its help, Ukrainians aged 18 to 60 who do not serve in the army can update their military accounting data and check their status, so they will fulfill the requirements of the new mobilization law.

So far, the application works in test mode, and there can be different mistakes. For example, people who have updated the data in a timely manner and have passed the Military Medical Commission as "wanted", and the current military is formally registered, although they must be removed from it through service. It turns out that even when someone receives data from the application, it cannot be sure of their truth because of such errors. Soon experts indicated problems with the register+application.

First, there is only one way to authorize-through Bankid. Secondly, the application could not withstand a large influx of users on the first day of launch, which, according to experts, could be provided and taken. In addition, the code found fragments of another application intended for students.
