Ukraine is defending from the Russian offensive by numerous minefields. The author claims that they are not as large -scale as in the Russian Federation, so the invaders try to step down columns of equipment and clear mine fields in the course. However, as soon as the enemy comes out of the land cleared from the mines, they are quickly discovered by Ukrainian drones and customized artillery or FPV.
An example of such a defense is the attempt of the invaders to attack armored vehicles near Novomikhailivka. Ukrainian artillery smashed enemy equipment that tried to go through a minefield. Ukraine has large reserves of anti -tank mines, which were inherited after the collapse of the USSR. However, in addition to Soviet reserves, Western partners also handed over their mines to Ukraine: Ukrainian tactics are to combine the miners with drones.
The military can provide constant monitoring of a minefield, and some mines can be installed with HIMARS or other systems. The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, in turn, try to interfere with the work of UAV with the help of HR, but it is difficult to resist the huge variety of unmanned systems in Ukraine.
