According to the spokesman, the process of mastering Ukrainian defenders of Western equipment is much faster than it is provided by the plan.
"As for preparation, for our military it has already become the norm to exceed the plan twice or even three times faster than Western training standards. If, for example, it takes 3-4 months to prepare one specialist on Western platforms, then our servicemen master this equipment for only 3 -4 weeks, " -explained Yevlash.
On April 21, Elijah Yevlash also recalled that the air forces of the Armed Forces to reliably protect the Ukrainian sky need more air defense systems as well as missiles for them. On April 17, NATO Secretary General Stoltenberg said that the meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Council will discuss the prospect of supplying new air defense systems to Ukraine.
