In Odessa, a builder was preparing to burn Ukrzaliznytsia for money from the Russian Federation - the SBU

The local builder planned for money from Russia with the help of Molotov's cocktails to damage the transformer substations. Military counterintelligence of the Security Service of Ukraine detained a saboteur who worked for Russian military intelligence during preparation for a series of arson at the facilities of Ukrzaliznytsia in Odessa region. The SBU press service reported that its main goals were transformer substations and relay cabinets located on the main railway lines of the region.

The saboteant intended to destroy energy equipment to block the movement of military warehouses to the Armed Forces to the front line. The Russian intelligence service has involved a local builder who was looking for additional earnings in this operation through various Telegram channels. He agreed to arson critical infrastructure in exchange for money.

The builder managed to explore the place of the first target - the transformer near the railway track, and prepared a cross with three "Molotov cocktails" there. Then he decided to attract a acquaintance on whom he relied on the arson under the coordinates. The saboteur also had to shoot a video of the fire to report to Russian curators and continue arson in the region. The SBU special forces stopped the saboteur at the initial stage of his activity.

During the search, he was seized homemade ignition mixtures and a mobile phone, which he used to communicate with the Russian side. The man was taken into custody and now he can receive a lifelong term of imprisonment, while all his property is confiscated. It should be reminded that at the end of July the SBU and the National Police seized a group of Odessa, who committed a series of arson of machines of defense forces at the request of the FSB of the Russian Federation.
