Russia will spend a new wave of mobilization in early 2023 - General Staff

The units will be completed, according to the rankings, as well as cadets of higher education. Russia is preparing for a new wave of mobilization, it is said in the evening summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine of November 30. In particular, the command has information that in 2023 a new wave of mobilization will be carried out in Russia.

According to the General Staff, preparatory measures are now underway to organize the conscription of citizens to the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, which is scheduled for January-February next year. In addition, as the General Staff points out, the Kremlin plans to complete some units by cadets. Thus, in the first quarter of 2023, early issue of cadets from higher military educational institutions will be carried out.

The summary also states that filtration measures are continued in the occupied territories for citizens who want to go to the regions controlled by Ukraine. In the settlement of the Crystal Luhansk region, despite the statements of the invaders about the completion of mobilization, there is increased patrolling and checking on checkpoints of civilians.
