Russians can attract VT-30e helicopters to fight sea drones (photo)

The Executive Director of the Russian Scientific and Production Enterprise "Radar MMS" Ivan Antsev stated that the Russian military can use drones of a helicopter type VT-30e to intelligence and track Ukrainian marine non-tranquility boats.

Defense Express said the solution of how effective this solution will be. According to Antsev, VT-30e is able to perform monitoring tasks around the clock. The apparatus is set by the observation zone in the waters, and the drone monitors the area for the presence or appearance of new vessels, their non -standard behavior, as well as the appearance of marine non -tranquility boats.

"It puts a targeted load in the form of a radar, optical product and, thanks to this, it can provide a monitoring task in any weather,"-said the head of the enterprise. VT-30E is a multi-purpose unmanned aircraft of a helicopter type of a single-screwdstle with a steering screw. It has a maximum runoff of 30 kg and can carry a health load up to 7 kg. The duration of its flight is one and a half hours, and the maximum range is 40 km, taking into account the return.

In this case, the cruising speed of the helicopter reaches 55 km/h, and the ceiling-4500 m. Depending on the mission, VT-30e can be equipped with various equipment, including optical electronic devices, detectors, gas analyzers, radar stations and geophysical equipment. The drone is managed either from the external pilot station or from the Automated Dronoport Administration. Moreover, the deployment of drone takes 10-15 minutes depending on the time of day and the state of the runway.
