The DPRK troops were thrown into Kursk unique SPR, and Russian drones mistakenly destroyed it (video)

Russian drones did not recognize North Korean technology. They perceived it as the Ukrainian air defense system and even posted a video of a "successful attack". During the fighting in the Kursk region, the Russians accidentally destroyed the rare North Korean anti-aircraft missile system. It happened after a 12,000th group of the 11th Army Corps of DPRK arrived in the region. Forbes writes about it.

The North Korean military brought with them artillery, rocket installations, as well as a unique anti -aircraft complex that combined a wheel chassis with a radar station and starting installations of the Russian Thor system, usually installed on a tracked base. Russian drones, not recognizing this rare transport, struck it, destroying the equipment. Russian troops mistakenly believed that it was a Ukrainian air defense system, and even posted a video of a "successful attack".

Only a few days later, analysts were able to identify the destroyed object as the North Korean "Thor". "It seems that what was initially stated as a" Western Production radar system "is likely to be the North Korean version of the Thor's SC on a chassis with a cabin," said the Polish analyst Warvehicletracker. "Funny . . . that Russia would hit its own SCR," he added, assuming that Russian drones in Kursk were not informed about the presence of this complex in the region.
