According to law enforcement officers, the attack was made by two Palestinians from the west shore, who used homemade weapons. According to police, the attackers opened fire on bus stop passengers and the bus in the morning at a busy crossroads. At the scene, the soldiers and civilians responded with fire, and the taxi driver helped the passengers survive.
Four people died on the spot, two more in the hospital. Among the dead were a woman and a rabbi. According to preliminary data, the attackers arrived from the villages of Al-Kubeiba and Katanna, and the Israeli troops surrounded these settlements. Weapons used are homemade Carlo-machine guns, which were previously used by militants. Police also found the attackers a knife and ammunition.
