GUR has studied almost 200 new parts and components that are used in 6 types of Russian weapons. Among them are the CRP-Antane of Shahaneda, the KNDR KN-24 ballistic missile, a computer from the X-47 rocket, as well as SuperCam S350, Gerber and Zala drones. For example, only 2 chips of US production were found in new CRP annets for the Strip-2, which testifies to Russia's efforts to reduce its dependence on US spare parts due to sanctions.
Also, the Shahaneda, which the Russian Federation used for strikes in Ukraine in 2025, has emerged new barriers to Chinese labeling antennas. In one of these antennas of 15 components, there are only two components produced by American companies Texas Instruments and Linear Technologies. GUR found that most of the spare parts used by the Russian Federation are Chinese production.
For example, the main CRP antenna chip that analyzes input signals and decides which one is ignored is made by Beijing Microelectronics Technology Institute (BMTI). Also, manufacturers of two more components are not fully installed, but they assume that they are also from China. It should be reminded that on September 30, 2024 it was reported that the forces of Ukraine began to use the means of radio electronic struggle (ERB) to reflect attacks of shock unmanned amellar apparatus "Shahaned".
