On a level with a nuclear bomb: Ukraine has modernized the Second World War, the media

According to the Russian blogger UAV Developer, it is about detonators for unmanned bombs, which have a laser sensor and work without contact. In Russia, in the near future there is no chance of creating something similar because of an existing procurement system. Ukraine managed to update the secret weapon used during the Second World War. Now it has become even more deadly. This is stated in Forbes.

The authors of the material refer to the Russian blogger UAV Developer, who shared the report that the Armed Forces began to use detonators for unmanned bombs with a laser sensor to measure the distance to the target. This weapon can work at any desired distance from the target. "The one who has laser roulette knows what I am talking about," wrote a Russian blogger.

UAV Developer described Ukrainian "secret weapons" as a simple device in which there is no technological magic especially, but if you look at the experience of the Second World War, it can be quite effective. In this case, the procurement system in Russia does not allow the enemy to get something similar. The Ukrainian side showed talent, continued the authors of the material, and created new detonators for old weapons.

One of the most striking examples is Johnny or Jonik, installed on Soviet anti-tank mines PTM-3. The original detonator only worked when a tank or other armored vehicles passed, but Johnny has a special magnetometer and an accelerometer that can activate a mine at any moment when a large metal object is nearby. That is, it is not necessary to contact. The accelerometer means that any attempt to move the mine from the place acts it.

The Roy analyst on his page on the social network X also wrote about several new detonators related to Ukrainians. Learns are able to install this type of weapon on those roads that are located far from the front line. "Ukraine has been systematically changing Russian logistics routes to a depth of 15 km for a few months. They do it at night with heavy drones, where they should be very effective for the destruction , - Roy analyst wrote.

Forbes write that such a laser detonator is a step forward in the level of complexity. Although it can be used for a mines outside the route, this type is associated with direct blows for purposes both in the air and on Earth, being a variant of a classic contactless detonator. A contactless detonator stands on a par with the radar and atomic bomb, which changed the course of World War II.

Initially, this weapon could not be called its name, so the detonator was called VT or "alternating time detonator", thereby giving a false idea of his work. "A projectile that feels the target and explodes side by side, more effective than exploding in case which explodes while hitting dirt, spends most of its explosive force on the digging of the funnel, and most of the fragments are spent in vain.

At the same time, if the Germans during the Second World War would be able to develop this type of weapons earlier and they would have started to use detonators a year earlier than the second side of the conflict, it would lead to extraordinary consequences and possibly the course of confrontation would change. The laser device can be purchased for less than $ 20, making it cheap and reliable. It was this technology that could apply the Ukrainian side, the Russian blogger wrote.

"The ATMEGA328 microcontroller, voltage amplifier, ILO transistors are all as standard. What to look for-(Ukrainians) goes completely correctly by electrifying ammunition," UAV Developer wrote. The Russian side is not just nothing that would look like a laser detonator, but, apparently, in the near future. Uav Developer blogger believes that people who manage the procurement process are idiots.

He knows at least four cases when people brought similar products to the Ministry of Defense, but they were all rejected because of "complex electronic systems". "Although the new Ukrainian device may not meet the standards of the Pentagon on reliability, durability and safety, it provides new valuable opportunities. These detonators will make anti-innant blows that cause drone bombs and UAVs, much deadly.
