According to the Minister of Ecology Ruslan Sagittari, the invaders took out several individuals of Zebra Chapman, Bison American, Przewalski and deer David's horses. Russian invaders were removed from the Ukrainian Reserve "Askania-Nova", which is located in the occupied territory of Kherson region, rare animals. This was reported by the Minister of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine Ruslan Streach on Facebook.

According to him, the occupation administration of the park made an illegal exchange of animals between the Biosphere Reserve "Askania-Nova", the Rostovsky Natural Biosphere Reserve and the Association for the preservation and restoration of rare and endangered animal species "living nature of the steppe". Sagittarius stated that the invaders had taken out several individuals of Zebra Chapman, the Bison of the American, Przhevalsky's horses and deer David.

These species of animals are listed in the Red Book with the status of "disappeared from nature", "on the verge of extinction" and "close to those under threat of destruction". Instead, according to the Minister, the Antilop Kanna, Jacob of Domestic, camels of two-ribs, as well as one Guanako, was brought to the Askania-Nova Zoo. "Ukraine is the first country in the world to collect evidence of environmental crimes," the shooter said.
