The occupiers in Crimea mobilized the local in one of the largest Muslim holidays - Atesh

During the celebration of Uraz-Bayram, the last day of the Muslim post for Muslims Ramadan, the occupiers raid the local population in order to mobilize men to the Russian army. This was reported by the guerrilla movement "Atesh".

"Atesh agents report that the Russians conducted a mass raid on the local population of the Simferopol district in order to mobilize them to the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation directly in one of the main Muslim holidays," the statement reads. In the guerrilla movement it was specified that the round-up happened on the day of the Uraza-Bayram. This year, this holiday occurred on April 10.

"The Russians continue to mobilize in the occupied Ukrainian territories, which is a serious international crime," Atesh stressed. The bayram is one of the two main Muslim holidays (the rest is Kurban Bayram, which is celebrated exactly 70 days after the bayram). It originates from the time of the Prophet Muhammad. According to legend, it was first celebrated in 624.

The bayram is preceded by 30 days of the Muslim Moon for Muslims, when the believers follow the strict rule-refuse to eat and drink in the daylight. And it is with the onset of urinary bayers that these prohibitions are removed. In addition, after the bayram, cigarettes and wedding are also allowed to be smoked.

At the same time, on the very day of the holiday, or more precisely in the evening before him, and all the Uraza-Bairam is forbidden to work, clean in the house, wash and do any other household chores, as well as quarrel, cure or refuse to help those who need it. It is obligatory for this holiday to give alms and help needy products or money.

Bayram is believed to be a chance for believers to start a new life and to preserve the spiritual purity they have acquired during the blessed month Ramadan.
