Negotiations with Russia: in the White House told when Zelensky can meet Putin

According to the representative of the administration John Kirby, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy should determine how and when the war will end, as well as on what conditions he is ready to negotiate with the Kremlin head Vladimir Putin. The White House is convinced that Ukraine has to make decisions on possible negotiations with Russia without pressure from the United States. This was stated at a briefing by the White House representative John Kirby.

According to him, America is looking for ways to help Kiev in the support of Russia without forcing him to certain actions. The White House representative noted that President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy should determine how and when the war will end. "You will be absolutely dissatisfied with my answer. The President Zelensky should determine how and when this war is over, as well as on what conditions he is ready to negotiate with Putin," Kirby said.

He also stressed that the number of Russian troops is increasing now, and Putin will probably not be waiting for spring, but will continue to take offensive actions. Therefore, Ukraine should have more opportunities not only for protection, but also in order to go on a counter -offensive. To do this, he said, new financing should be approved.
