The investigation found that the FSB, in particular, recruited agents because of threats to the lives of their families, and for each task, the defendants received funds from the Russian Federation. In Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine has discovered and neutralized the agent network of FSB counterintelligence. 5 former and current staff of the Security Service of Ukraine worked on Russia. The press service of the department reports.

It is established that the operation to identify Russian agents took place in several stages. In different regions, 5 participants of the enemy group were detained. Among them are former officials of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense and the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine, as well as an employee of the SBU Regional Directorate. The persons had the same curator, who is now in the occupied Crimea.

They provided him with information about the Western weapons received by Ukraine, the protection systems of Rivne and Khmelnitsky NPPs, fortifications in Odesa region, etc. The individual persons were recruited by Russia before the full -scale invasion. "According to the investigation materials, the expostine of external intelligence gathered information about the places of basement of the Ukrainian military and the channels of transfer of foreign weapons to Ukraine.

Also, the Russian agent transmitted secret information about the peculiarities of work and the system of protection of Rivne and Khmelnitsky NPP," the statement reads. He transmitted separate information through an accomplice who traveled abroad as a volunteer and personally reported to the resident of the enemy special service.

Another person who was previously served in GUR, "drained" the aggressor of personal data of Ukrainian defenders, and the other - explored for the occupiers of the geolocation of fortifications and engineering barriers near the coastline of Odesa region. The investigation found that the FSB, in particular, recruited agents because of threats to the lives of their families. In addition, for each task, they received funds from Russia.

"Investigators of security services have already been informed by five participants of the Russian agent network of suspicion under Article 111 of the Criminal Code (State betrayal). We will remind that the SBU detained the official of the Supreme Court of Ukraine. The man seized almost 300 unbroken ammunition to small arms, pro -Kremliv literature and a special technical means of illegal monitoring. The SBU also exposed the FSB agents on February 5.
