This is "provocation": Poland was indignant because of the UPA flags on their "wads", which were transferred to the Armed Forces

The Head of the Ministry of Defense of Poland Vladislav Kosinyak-Kaysh instructed to contact the Ukrainian attaches in Warsaw immediately. The Polish Ministry of Defense responded extremely negatively to the actions of the Ukrainian soldiers who placed the flag of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UPA) on the Polish armored personnel carriers of Rosomak. The head of the department Vladislav Kosinyak-Kaysh called it a provocation.

"The UPA flags on Rosomak armored personnel carriers, delivered by Poland to the Ukrainian army, is a provocation, which is unacceptable," he wrote on the X. The Minister added that he instructed to contact the Ukrainian attacker in Warsaw in Warsaw to find out the situation. The situation was commented in the Polish media.

Thus, the Polish edition of Polsat noted that the discussion began after publishing on the Internet of photos, which shows the Red and Black Flags of the UPA at the Polish APC Rosomak, which are used at the front in Ukraine. The authors of the material claim that the differences between Ukraine and Poland regarding the role of the UPA remain significant during the Second World War.

Poland accuses Ukrainian nationalists of repression against the Polish population, in particular, within the framework of the Volyn tragedy of 1943. At the end of November 2024, the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Poland and Ukraine Radoslav Sikorsky and Andriy Sibiga in Warsaw declared a joint decision on the issue of exhumation of victims of the Volyn tragedy.
