According to the investigation, the defendants were issued by SUVs as a humanitarian assistance for the Ukrainian army, but in the future sold them for cash. In the city of Smela, the Cherkasy region detained two men for the sale of about 200 cars, which they had to transfer to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was reported by the police press service of Cherkasy region.

According to the investigation, 40 and 32-year-old residents of Smila have established a scheme of transportation of vehicles as humanitarian aid. "Despite the ban on the sale of the gum, which they had to transfer the Armed Forces free of charge, dealers sold cars to civilians for cash," the statement said. Business buyers were searched through the Internet. The police said that according to this scheme, the persons involved more than 190 cars totaling about UAH 31. 5 million.

Men were detained when receiving $ 15,000 for the sale of three BMW X5 SUVs, Mercedes ML 270 and VW TURAN. "The suspect was chosen by precautions: one - round -the -clock house arrest, the other - detention with the right to make a bail of 90 840 UAH," the police said. The persons are threatened with seven years in prison with the confiscation of property.
