According to sources, the drone production plant in Alabuga in Tatarstan released only external components for 300 drones and lags behind the installed schedule for about a month. The leakage of documents indicates that the plant lacks experts and that workers, in particular the one who shared the departmental secrets with Western journalists, face a moral dilemma.
In an attempt to keep the workforce, the plant management was forced to go to such incentives as wage raising, and even resorting to compulsory measures, such as seizing passports. The published documents also say that the Russian drone production plant lacks foreign components: the Russian Federation produces only four of the required 130 components, and US sanctions complicate the purchase of some electronic components.
