Large -scale corruption in the Architects Union: SBU revealed the details of black schemes with occupied Crimea

In order for the scheme to work, the officials of the Union of Architects illegally changed the personal data of architects in previously issued certificates. "For this purpose, a representative of the National Union of Architects, at the instructions of the manager, handed over to the third person his electronic key for entering the electronic system.

Using the key and gaps in the system of system security, unauthorized intervention and change of personal data in old certificates of architects from the occupied Crimea were made "Newly created," the message reads. All actions of new architects using such "black" certificates can be recognized as illegal in court, which will entail other negative consequences for developers and ordinary citizens, add in the SBU. Scheme as a result of investigative operations at the end of last year.

During searches at the places of residence and work of deals, law enforcement officers found an electronic key access to the system, computer equipment and other digital media with evidence of criminal actions, which was subsequently confirmed by the relevant judicial computer 'Justice-technical Oy examination.

On the basis of the evidence collected, the suspicion was declared to the head of the National Union of Architects of Ukraine, his deputy and IT to the specialist who directly performed the intervention, under Part 2 of Art. 361 (unauthorized interference with information (automated), electronic communication, information and communication systems, electronic communication networks by prior conspiracy by a group of persons) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

The investigation was carried out by the staff of the SBU Cybersecurity Department together with the Chief Investigative Directorate of the National Police for procedural management of the Prosecutor General's Office. Earlier it was reported that the SBU had exposed and stopped the malefactors from the Union of Architects, who made money on construction schemes.

"If it was not for the SBU reaction, in Ukraine they would be able to legalize hundreds of" problem "buildings, which were reduced in violation of current requirements and standards. And this is a risk of man -made accidents and other emergencies. And therefore - the risk for thousands of Ukrainians," - emphasized at the SBU Cybersecurity Department. The attackers tried to illegally receive money through the forgery and sale of permits to the construction business representatives.
