Putin will offer Lukashenko to work out a joint nuclear stroke - the media

The Russian President came to Minsk the day before to negotiate with Belarusian colleague. They were going to discuss nuclear security, which Lukashenko allegedly pays special attention to. Russian President Vladimir Putin can offer his colleague from Belarus Alexander Lukashenko to work out a joint nuclear strike. This is stated in The Moscow Times.

On May 23, the Kremlin head arrived on a working visit to Minsk, where he discussed with Alexander Lukashenko training of Russian and Belarussian military. In particular, it was about nuclear security that the President of Belarus allegedly pays special attention to. "Let's talk about the second phase (nuclear, edition). This is related to the direct participation of our Belarusian friends, colleagues in the military sphere in these events," Vladimir Putin said.

The authors of the material remind that last year Moscow had transferred the Minsk part of their tactical nuclear weapons, which as a result was placed in the city of Osipovichi - 200 kilometers from the border with Ukraine. In the theory of warheads can be launched from Iskander missiles, which Belarus received a year earlier. Weapons capable of flying 300 kilometers in theory can hit goals in the Baltic, Poland and Ukraine.

Although Belarus has made the doctrine that nuclear weapons can be applied in response to external threats, Moscow will completely control it. Accordingly, it is the Kremlin who will make a decision on its application, as previously stated by Vladimir Putin. Already on May 21, the Russians began training rocket units of the Southern Military District and Navy forces, which can be worked out by the use of non -strategic nuclear weapons.

Obviously, the Kremlin's head can offer Alexander Lukashenko to join this event. We will remind, on May 7 it was reported that expert Mikhail Pritula spoke about the possible use of tactical nuclear weapons. According to him, it is not a tool for Russia for Russia. Also analysts with ISW reported that the Kremlin is using nuclear blackmail so that Ukraine does not beat Western weapons on the rear in the Russian Federation.
