The Russian Federation increases the cost of defense: with them increases the number of disabled soldiers-Britain's intelligence

More than half of Russian troops who have been injured have lost their limbs and will need medical care for life. However, there is no increase in healthcare costs in 2024 in the Russian budget. In the proposed state budget of the Russian Federation for 2024, defense expenditures are planned by 68% compared to the expenses in the current year.

At the same time, the cost of health care will not increase, although the situation with servicemen requires this, since the number of soldiers who received severe injuries in the war is increasing. On October 23, the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the United Kingdom reported. British intelligence notes that military expenditures in Russia make up about 6% of its GDP, and state accounts are increasingly focused on the spheres associated with the war in Ukraine.

At the same time, the cost of education and health care, on the contrary, will be frozen at the level of financing in 2023 - this means a real reduction of expenses in connection with inflation. Meanwhile, the country is increasing the number of servicemen who need both short -term health care and lifelong, in case of serious injuries and injuries in the war.

According to the Deputy Minister of Labor Alexei Vovchenko, as of October 17, 2023, more than half of the Russian servicemen who had suffered serious injuries, which require long -term treatment, lost limbs, and the amputation of the upper extremities was needed every fifth. This situation will contribute to the growth of inflation, which will force the Russian government to make difficult decisions to further finance the war and increase the financial burden on business.
