On October 1, 2023, a new order of military accounting for women comes into force in Ukraine. Doctors, nurses and pharmacists should come to the CCC. Other women whose specialties are related to the military sphere can do so voluntarily. The focus understood how the military accounting system for women would work.

Although the new order of military accounting for women obliges doctors, nurses and pharmacists to appear in the CCC, in practice, according to experts, the process will in fact be voluntary. First, the district shopping center has no information about women who have graduated from medical institutions. Secondly, by 2026 there is a transition period during which women with medical specialties can be held for work without being on military accounting.

How women will control women - the question is open. The summons cannot be handed over until the woman is on military registration. How to register, if she did not come to the shopping center - is unclear.

"In the case of women, military accounting means that doctors and pharmacists should come to the district shopping center at the place of residence, to undergo a military medical commission-there will be an examination A woman is recognized as "suitable" for service, then she can be handed a summons, mobilization order - all as with military service men.

For this reason, military accounting will first of all apply to physicians and pharmacists who are completing training in the near future, says lawyer Yevgeny Zuraji's focus.

According to the new order, universities, vocational and vocational schools in medical and pharmaceutical specialties should submit lists of medical students to the shopping center two months before release, which will be stored for 10 years. On the basis of this information, graduates will be issued temporary certificates of the military, which will be valid within 30 days.

During this time, women should come to the district shopping center, pass the Military Medical Commission and then register. The same rules as with the military men. There is a "suitable" mark and there is no reason to defer - a mobilization order and part. There are reasons not to serve-a restriction on age, health, in connection with family circumstances: for example, a single mother or a man in war and a child to educate anyone-they make a deferral.

For women-medical and pharmacists who have completed their studies earlier than the new order came into force, they have, in fact, a deferral by 2026. Paragraph 51 of the Procedure of Organization and Military Accounting of conscripts, conscripts and reservists by Decree of December 30, 2022 No.

1487 states that women who have received education in a medical or pharmaceutical profession and are not in military accounting until the order is approved , they can be employed as a non -mandated conscript by the end of 2026. "Most likely, everyone who has gained a specialty and already work in fact have a deferral by the end of 2026, they will not be touched.

But after that all women medical and pharmacists who want to officially get a job will have to become obligatory to get on registration, "says Zuraji. According to Vasilyuk, it is a pregnancy and maternity leave for additional reasons for obtaining a deferral for military personnel who have already been on military registration. And also if both parents are brought up in a family where a child under 18 years of age is conscripted. In this case, one parent is entitled to defer from service.

So far, there are no restrictions on traveling abroad for women who have been registered. "Considering women can cross the border, there were no new orders," Zuraji adds. The focus was understood on September 4, who can abolish the delay from the service. The Verkhovna Rada is offered to send students older than 30 years who receive more than one education: higher or vocational and technical.
