To spread: hackers who took responsibility for the breakdown of information systems of the largest Russian airline "Aeroflot", said that the CEO of the company Sergey Alexandrovsky has not changed the password from 2022. Representatives of the Belarusian group of anonymous hackers-activists of "cyberpartisans" told July 28 how paralyzed the largest Russian airline together with Silent Crow colleagues. They have developed access to Aeroflot Corporate Network for several months.

"Successful penetration was largely possible due to the fact that some employees of the company neglect the elementary safety of passwords. Yes, Aeroflot CEO Sergey Alexandrovsky has not changed his password from 2022," - said the craftsmen. The company used Windows XP and Windows Server 2003, which led to compromising the entire infrastructure.

By the morning of July 28, according to hackers, more than 7 thousand servers and workstations, databases and internal systems were destroyed with the help of a special innovative algorithm. Activists have accessed the staff's personal computers, including senior management, and were methodically moving to the infrastructure core - Tier0. The hackers noted that they have retained listening to employees and working mail and laid out on social networks.

In addition, an array of flight history databases has been unloaded - they can be received on request for independent investigations. Cyberpartizans noted that the restoration of Aeroflot systems will take a long time, and cyberattack collapsed the company's shares and caused significant financial losses.
