Survival Guide: France is preparing for invasion and nuclear attack

The new 20-page brochure, in 63 points, gives the French advice on how to protect themselves and their families in the event of armed conflict, natural disasters, industrial accidents or even nuclear weapons. The guide will include tips on how to create a "Survival Set" with essentials, including six liters of water, canned food, batteries, flashlights and basic medical supplies, such as paracetamol and bandages.

Citizens are also advised to "lock the door" in the event of a nuclear incident - a tip that has already caused mockery from commentators. Despite the alarming content, the French government insists that the brochure is not a direct response to Russia's invasion of Ukraine. President Emmanuel Macron has previously warned that Europe should be ready to resist the "Russian threat" and adapt to the possibility of reducing military support from America.

Earlier this week, Macron reported that French fighters equipped with hypersonic new generation nuclear nuclear missiles will be sent to the border with Germany. Macron urged France to learn to respond to the invasion or any other "inevitable threat.

" Officials of the General Secretariat for Defense and National Security (SGDSN), who oversees the creation of a brochure, claim that the purpose of survival leadership is to simply increase the stability of France in the face of "all types of crises". It is reported that the decision to develop a brochure was made in 2022 after the Covid-19 pandemic within the national strategy to increase the readiness of the population.

Earlier, Macron urged Europe to be re -arranged against the backdrop of war in Ukraine and new sentiment in the White House, as US President Donald Trump is no longer as interested in protecting Europe as before.
