Booking Rules in Ukraine since March 1: Who will be mobilized to the Armed Forces in early spring

Businesses are obliged to confirm the status of "criticality" for the country by February 28. Further, employers are obliged to recover employees or remove all deferrals. In Ukraine, the rules of booking from general mobilization to the Armed Forces will change from March 1. Businesses are obliged to confirm their "critical" status for the country until February 28, said Dmitry Kysilevsky, a member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Economic Development.

The need to introduce new booking rules in Ukraine has arisen due to multiple cases of abuse. After February 28, employers are obliged to either release employees or remove all delay. The possibility of resolving all business issues has been since December 2024, the People's Deputy emphasizes.

Kisilevsky noted that during the operation of the old reservation system from mobilization to the Armed Forces, the enterprise showed compliance with criteria, and after the status of criticality in it, the number of employees increased abnormally, or their level of salary decreased sharply to the minimum. "There were not many such businesses, but they were. We have noticed cases of abuse," the politician stressed. How many employees will lose the right to defer is unknown.

Director of the Department of Economics and Defense of the Ministry of Economy Sergey Smetanko said that there are up to 20,000 "critical" enterprises in the country, but in the spring they will become less. "Someone, because of the mismatch of the criteria, is cut off, and someone on the contrary can get out of the shadows and book workers," Kysilevsky summed up. Recall that the employee of Brave1, who executed orders for the army, was detained in the Kiev shopping center and mobilized.
