"Will be a legitimate goal": the diplomat of the Russian Federation threatened with the liquidation of French instructors in Ukraine

The Speaker of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in France Alexander Makhonov threatened that French instructors would become "legitimate goals" for Russia when they are sent to Ukraine. The day before, the speaker of the Kremlin's head Dmitry Peskov made similar threats, noting that such military will not "immunity from Russian blows.

" A spokesman for the Russian Embassy in France, Alexander Makhonov, said on Tuesday, June 4, on the air of the French TV channel that the French instructors who will be sent to Ukraine will be a "legitimate goal" for Russian soldiers. Official Paris has already reported that the statement of the Russian diplomat will not be left without consequences, BFMTV reports.

France on Wednesday, June 5, condemned the comments made the day before a representative of the Russian Embassy in its territory, which warned Paris from sending French instructors to Ukraine. "If you send your soldiers, your specialists, their instructors to the Ukrainian land so that they can teach Ukrainian soldiers to better target and kill Russians, they will, of course, become a legitimate goal," Makakonov said on Tuesday night.

He added: "It is becoming more official, so we make our warnings more and more official. " Earlier on the same day, the Kremlin official Dmitry Peskov warned that "no instructor who is engaged in the training of Ukrainian soldiers has no immunity" from Russian blows. "It doesn't matter if they are French or not," he said. "These are scandalous statements that will not be left without consequences," said Christoph Lemuan, Deputy Spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Answering questions about the possible call of the Russian diplomat "on the carpet", Lemouan stressed that the discussion of the answer to be given to Paris should continue. The official statement can be made on Friday during the meeting of President Emmanuel Macron and his colleagues Vladimir Zelensky at the Elysee Palace. Oleksandr Makhonov evaluated on Tuesday evening on the same question that "it is becoming more official, so we make our warnings more and more official.

" It is worth noting that Makhonov's interview was so scandalous that calls of outraged viewers who accused French journalists of propaganda began to receive the TV channel. They reported that they spoke to the Russian diplomat about the bombing of Ukraine of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and asked him uncomfortable questions that in another situation could not be answered, including official channels.

We will remind, France considers the possibility of sending French military instructors to Ukraine to accelerate the training of Ukrainian soldiers, in particular in the field of demining and maintaining military equipment. On June 2, five coffins with the inscription "French soldiers from Ukraine" were installed in Paris near the Eiffel Tower. Law enforcement officers detained the suspects in the anti -Ukrainian action.
