As a result of the attack of the Russian Federation on the city of Odessa, on the evening of January 31, 2025, a historic building of the Brystole Hotel was injured, which is part of the ensemble of buildings of the historic city center. The location for Bristol was chosen extremely successfully: a new respectable hotel is located opposite the new merchant exchange (now the Odesa Philharmonic is located here) and near the State Bank building. During his opening, a magnificent hotel was a four -storey building with luxury elements. The name "Bristol" received its name from its namesake in Austria-Hungary, and the institution itself quickly gained popularity among the wealthy sections of the population.

One of the novelties of the hotel at that time was the heating system of the German firm "Schaeffer and Walker", which allowed the guests to determine the comfortable temperature in their rooms.
