In Russia, the "baby" UAV "Orlyatko" is being developed: what is known about it

Aircraft type with vertical take -off and planting The government proposes to use students for training. In Russia, a new unmanned aircraft (UAV) "Orlyatko", which want to be included in the school program, is being developed. The governor of Sakhalin region Valery Limarenko spoke about it at a meeting with Viceremier-Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko, the Russian government's website reports.

On Sakhalin is a laboratory of drones, where the designer of the drone of aircraft type within the program "Youth Professionals" Championships is created. The governor suggested adding "Orlyatko" to the educational program of Russia, so that students from childhood learn to manage aircraft. Dmitry Chernyshenko, for his part, declared the preparation of the experimental legal regime for UAV flight.

According to ASTV site, the UABL "Orlyatko" was developed by Sakhalin engineer Arthur Berendyaev together with a group of students from the Children's Technopark "Quanttorium". According to the designer, the device is similar to the plane, but can fly vertically, like a quadcopter, and hang in the air if necessary. The drone was collected from composite materials that protect when falling to the ground. The creators assure that the "Orlyatko" has successfully passed the test.

Other characteristics of the device have not yet been opened. "We create a device for various tasks. This is a kind of platform that can be refined in the future. For example, use in agriculture - for irrigation, delivery of fertilizers and other purposes," - said Arthur Berendyaev. It is worth noting that in Russia, a drone with the same name produces Aerocon from Kazan.

The company positions its brainchild as multi-purpose UAVs for patrols, observant in meteorological, geodetic, cartographic, transport, agricultural and other purposes, as well as for search and rescue operations. "Orlyatko" from "Aerocon is a tall with a straight wing with a swing of a little more than 3 m, a two -ring vertical plumage, an internal combustion engine and an alternating current generator.
