Before the death, he knocked down two missiles: Syrsky commented the F-16 catastrophe in Ukraine

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Oleksandr Sirsky emphasized that the F-16 studied "the best pilots". According to him, fighters confirmed their effectiveness. The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky commented on the F-16 fighter disaster. This is known with his interview with CNN, published on September 8. The Colonel General stressed that Ukrainian pilots have been trained.

"They were trained in the educational institutions of our partner countries, and, of course, the best pilots were selected that already had the experience of efficient use partners, and received all permits for the operation of these aircraft, "he said. Syrsky assured that all facts of plane crashes are investigated by the Special Commission of the Ministry of Defense.

"But before that, I want to say that the pilot, who died, was knocking down two rockets and he simply attacked, pursuing a third winged rocket using onboard weapons," he said. The head suggested that the results of the investigation would be known soon. At the same time, he noted that the efficiency of the F-16 "proven results"-a pair of boards knocked four winged missiles.

"This will certainly increase our defense capability, especially in the fight against the winged rockets of the enemy," Sirsky emphasized. We will remind, the air expert Valery Romanenko stated that the authorities already know the cause of the F-16 catastrophe, but "waves" at the stage of elaboration of a acceptable version for society. Defense Minister Rustem Umerov assured that the release of the Air Force Commander Mykola Oleshchuk was not connected with a plane crash on August 26.
