"The peculiarity of this year is the change in the tactics of the Russians in achieving the criminal goal. The goal was not changing - it is a total blackout of the Ukrainian energy system," she said. According to the spokeswoman, the fact that hostile tactics have changed is visible on two grounds. "The first is the density of these attacks and the intensity of specific energy objects in specific regions," Taturian explained.

She said that the enemy was trying to "knock out" large cities or areas where the industry is located. "And the second such aspect is that we can now state that rocket and drone massive attacks of Russians are now inherent not only in the autumn and winter period, that is, heating, but also in the summer," Ukrenergo said. She reminded that since the end of March the Russian Federation has not stopped trying to destroy and damage as many objects as possible in the power system.

In particular, the invaders aimed at power plants, sought to reduce Ukraine's ability to produce electricity. Tsaturian added that the regime of economical consumption "will be with us for a very long time" and Ukrainians have to get used to it. According to her, saving light in "peak" hours - in the morning and in the evening - should be a useful habit.
