According to Global Defense Insight, the CEO of the Interagency Public Relations Service (ISPR) of Pakistan Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhri declared interception of 12 Indian drones in the country. According to ISPR, drones were neutralized in nine cities - Lahory, Gujranval, Chakval, Bahavalpuri, Mianano, Karachi, Charry, Ravalpindi and Attotsi. The four soldiers of the Pakistani Army were injured in Lahore.
The IAI website states that the HAROP drones are designed to hunt valuable purposes, such as unmanned overwill ships, command points, supply warehouses, tanks and air defense systems. These devices combine the characteristics of UAVs and rockets. According to the manufacturer, thanks to 9-hour HAROP endurance, it is possible to look, recognize and attack goals without prior intelligence, using its electro-optic heading head. Harop uses a satellite navigation system, which makes it resistant to HR.
