Blackhage cannot be exposed: a nuclear blow will lead to direct NATO participation in the war - the Secretary General

According to Jens Stoltenberg, Russia's nuclear blackmail has only one goal - to force the West to abandon Ukraine's support. However, the Kremlin's victories cannot be allowed. NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg commented in an interview with DW Deputy Chairman of the Russian Council Dmitry Medvedev that the Alliance would not directly enter the war in Ukraine, even if Moscow applies nuclear weapons. "He is not right. Because we have clearly stated - there will be serious consequences.

But we did not go into details, what are the consequences. Weeks have been reminded several times what threatens such a step. According to him, NATO does not intend to talk about what the answer will be, so as not to give the enemy an advantage. However, the Secretary General noted that in Eastern Europe there is more and more alliance forces to prevent Russia's potential conflict with NATO members.

Jens Stoltenberg believes that the risk of nuclear weapons use by Russians remains low until no changes are observed in their nuclear readiness. He assured that the Alliance is watching Russia very closely, especially now that the Russian army intends to conduct annual nuclear training. "We remind Russia that the nuclear war cannot be won, so you should never start," NATO Secretary General.

At the same time, the Alliance is ready for any scenario and understands that Russia's threats have only one goal-to force the West to stop helping Ukraine. However, Stoltenberg is convinced that the Kremlin cannot be victorious, as it will signal authoritarian rulers around the world who will be convinced that it is possible to solve wars and violate international law to achieve their goals.
