Mikhail Kokorych built a successful business in the Russian Federation and even concluded a contract with Roscosmos. But after the start of a full -scale war with Ukraine, he gave up Russian citizenship. Russian businessman Mikhail Kokorych, who, after the start of a full -scale war with Ukraine, has refused Russian citizenship, now helps Ukrainians. And already sent hundreds of shock drones to Ukraine. About it writes the Finnish edition of Yle.

Military technologies in the Ukrainian War are now developing faster than ever after World War II. One of the industries that develop the fastest is drones, that is, unmanned aerial vehicles. Ukraine had a strong aviation industry, which also produced drones. And when it became clear that drones are a weapon of the future, all the largest military states in the world have been intensely developing their own drones.

One of the most significant drones that supported Ukraine is Destinus, originally founded in 2021 by Russian Mikhail Kokorich. The company's head office is located in Paris, but it already has production in several European countries. In an interview, Kokorich said that his company had already put hundreds of shock drones like "Lord" during the war. It is possible that they attacked Russian refineries. The big question in drones is the use of artificial intelligence.

According to Kokorich, cheap and simple drones Lord are already fully controlled by artificial intelligence. The computers have been introduced into the area. The aircraft sensors read the terrain in front of him and are guided by the destination without connecting to GPS or without the need to control from the ground. Kokorich says that this year his company will launch a drone called Hornet, whose task is to destroy other drones. This drone will have an autonomous search for a goal.

In Ukraine, the targets of "Hornet" can be, for example, the slow -used drones "Shahaned", widely used by Russia, or Russian intelligence drones. Kokoricha also develops a drone Destinus G, which, he said, will be launched for 3-5 years. It will be a device fully controlled by artificial intelligence that can replace a man -made fighter with at least some combat missions. Mikhail Kokorych founded more than 20 companies in various fields.

In the 2010s, the businessman bought the retailer of household appliances and electronics "Technos", but soon sold it. In 2011, Kokorich founded a private Russian space company Dauria Aerospace, which won the Roscosmos contract for the drafting of two spacecraft. He moved to Europe in 2012. Kokorich opposed Vladimir Putin's politics and supported opposition forces, such as Mikhail Khodorkovsky. At the beginning of this year, he gave up Russian citizenship.

Kokorich received a certificate from the embassy, confirming the withdrawal of Russian citizenship. In which country it was issued in the document hidden. According to the certificate, Kokorich's citizenship was stopped on January 12, 2024. Kokorich believes that it is on the list of goals of Russian special services, but does not hide that the drones, which its company supplies to Ukraine, is collected in Germany.
