The FSB Director stated that Budanov is a "legitimate goal" for Russia (video)

When asked by a journalist why people who "commit crimes" are still alive, including the head of the GUR Kirill Budanov, the head of the Russian Federal Security Service Oleksandr Bortnikov answered that he was "still ahead". The head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Kirill Budanov is a "legitimate goal" for Russia. This was stated by the director of the Russian Federal Security Service Alexander Bortnikov in a comment for the Shot correspondent.

In a published video, Bortnikov states that "everyone who commits crimes against Russia and Russian citizens is a legitimate goal. " When asked by a journalist, why they are still alive, including Budanov, the FSB Director stated that he was still "ahead. " We will remind, earlier the Basmann Court of Moscow in absentia arrested the head of the Security Service of Ukraine Vasyl Malyuk on charges of "terrorism".

According to Kommersant, a truck explosion on the Crimean bridge could be the reason for the case against the head of the SBU in October 2022.
