According to him, Kiev is closer to the Alliance and the EU than ever. NATO Secretary General stressed that the Russian Federation pays a high price for the war in Ukraine. The aggressor country lost hundreds of planes and thousands of tanks, and 300,000 of its soldiers were killed or injured.
In addition, inflation has increased in Russia itself and has fallen living. Moscow's political isolation has only intensified. However, Stoltenberg urged not to hope that the war would end quickly. He does not believe that after the next election, Putin will change his course. "We have no signs that Putin will change his goals and his policies. He will continue to try to occupy more territories," NATO Secretary General. He stressed that NATO should continue Ukraine's strong support.
