Secret entrance in the basement: a man found a Cold War bunker under an abandoned house (photo)

Share: In Poland, a local resident found an abandoned house in a small town. When he went down to the basement, he did not expect to find an unusual door with a secret entrance, where he discovered a nuclear bunker. It turned out that behind the door to the basement was a massive security door leading to an underground bunker. The stalker posted photos from this location on Reddit. According to the author of the post, this abandoned storage was built back in 1970 under an abandoned family home.

Inside they found Soviet gas masks, metal flasks for soldiers, a first aid kit, equipment bags and water filters. All this has remained untouched since the 1980s, the stalker suggests. Researchers suggest that the bunker was used either as a storage facility in case of war or as a place for military training. "Everything looks as if people just left here one day and never came back," said the author of the find.

Above the bunker is an old family house, which has also remained in almost perfect condition. The rooms still contain furniture, things, books, and even some household items from the 70s and 80s. "This is one of those places where you can feel how history literally froze in the air," the researcher wrote. In the comments to the viral photos, users did not expect to see such a storage.
