"One of our aircraft crashed during the take-off from Vadi-Seidna airport on the evening of February 25," Sudan said in the Armed Forces, recognizing that the dead and wounded were among civilians. The army stated that the ambulance brigades were sent to the hospital while the firefighters localized the fire at the scene. No additional details about the type of aircraft, the number of victims or the cause of the accident has not yet been received.
The Sudan army and the RSF forces (RSF) have been waging war since the mid -April 2023, which, according to the UN and local authorities, killed more than 20,000 people and 14 million people have become displaced. However, studies of US universities estimate the number of deaths at about 130,000 people. The war in Sudan is accompanied by the world's greatest famine.
