On March 26, the first meeting of a coalition of armored vehicles, created by Poland and Germany, took place in the Polish capital. It was supported by the United Kingdom, Sweden and Italy. The Ukrainian delegation was headed by Deputy Minister of Defense Lieutenant General Ivan Havrylyuk.
According to the results of the meeting, four synditens were created, each of which will be a Ukrainian representative: "The coalition of armored vehicles aims to strengthen the armored shield of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, joint efforts to increase the ability of our army in the fight against the Russian aggressor, to ensure efficient functioning, maintenance, repair of samples. technicians and weapons provided to us by the Allies, "Gavrilyuk said.
He also added that the Allied initiative is very important because the Armed Forces has a problem with foreign equipment repair. Therefore, the coalition can create a repair base of Western armored vehicles in Ukraine. Also, the tank coalition has already shown its potential for the development of cooperation in the field of armored vehicles. The new coalition plans to develop a roadmap that will meet the Armed Forces Development Strategy.
