"Never return": Fitzo believes that the Russians will not leave Crimea and Donbas

According to the Prime Minister of Slovakia, it is necessary to stop the fighting and start negotiations, because otherwise both sides of the conflict will continue to lose people. Russia does not plan to return to Ukraine the Crimean Peninsula and the Donbass territory, and peace will be very expensive. This was stated by Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fitzo, Ceske Noviny. According to him, in terms of international law, everyone recognizes the territorial integrity of a country.

It is about sovereignty and inviolability of borders. At the same time, it does not always work. "This is a good theory of international law. But I say that the Russians will never return the Crimea, the Russians will never leave Donbass," Robert Fitzo said. Separately, the politician from Slovakia added that daily Ukraine continues to lose territory, and Russia allegedly received more claim from its offensive.

In addition, according to Robert Fitzo, Kiev has no potential and strength in Kiev, which would end the war from a military point of view. As a result, both parties will continue to lose their people, and the only thing that can end the conflict is NATO assistance. Accordingly, Robert Fitzo stands for the termination of hostilities. Participants in the conflict can find a way out of the situation through negotiations on special status for the territories controlled by Russia.
