"Under someone else's flag": propagandists of Hungary and Russian Federation accused Ukraine of the preparation of special operation

The relevant statements with the difference between the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Maria Zakharova and the Hungarian news portal Pestisrácok-under the control of the Prime Minister of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban. The "primary source" of the statement was an editorial article - that is, an article, whose author is not a separate journalist, but written on behalf of the publication as a whole - on the Pestisrácok portal.

The Hungarian version of the portal in its material accuses the Security Service of Ukraine of "preparation for the implementation of a plan aimed at discrediting Russia. " Allegedly, Ukrainian intelligence services with the participation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are planning attacks on large logistics units in Romania and Poland, which are used to transport weapons to Ukraine. This attack will be carried out with the help of Russian drones from the territory of Western Ukraine.

After that, the Presidential Administration "intends to organize an information campaign in Ukrainian and foreign media, aimed at Moscow's accusations of attacks on NATO countries. " Within a few hours after the material was published, this information was picked up by Russian propagandists, including Maria Zakharova, used the Hungarian edition to "legitimize" information.

"Probably, with the support of Hungary, thus creating an information cover for an attack on NATO's logistics hubs, using its traditional tactics-filling the info space with a significant number of delusional and official denial of any accusations,"-explained the experts of "militaristic".

Russian propaganda and anonymous accounts on social networks are spreading the version that Ukraine is trying to draw NATO into the war that the Ukrainian air defense allegedly intentionally "did not manage" or "specifically directed" drones towards Poland. Analysts have recorded a wave of the same message on Facebook, Tiktok, YouTube and X. Some accounts have signs of Russian origin. The total coverage is about 30 million views.
