In the Ukrainian unit of Aukhan hypermarkets, they stated that "shocked" journalists that the French company had supplied goods for the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the occupied territories and helped the Russian military enlistment offices to recruit mobilized among their employees. This was stated in a message on their Facebook page.
"We are shocked by information that was published in a journalistic investigation into assistance to the Army of the Aggressor Country," the company said. Auchan Ukraine demands from the French office explanations of the situation. However, they refute this information there. "We have urgently addressed the office in France. They refute this information. We are waiting for official communication," - added in the Ukrainian branch of the company from France.
We will remind, on February 17, the French and Russian media Bellingcat, The Insider and Le Monde released an investigation stating that Auchan supplied to Russian troops for free during a full -scale war, and helped Russian military enlistment offices for free. Journalists recalled that French hypermarkets continue their work in the Russian Federation. The management of the company, as they say in the investigation, collects and transmitted data on its employees.
