According to journalists, the air defense systems are planned to be transferred to Ukraine within a new military assistance package. It is likely that Germany can hand over three more Iris-T systems. Sweden and Germany are negotiating a new military assistance package to Ukraine, which will be handed over to the Ukrainian military missiles and launchers for the German IRIS-T system. About it reports Bloomberg with reference to sources.

Germany appealed to Sweden with a request to provide launchers for the missile system, compatible with IRIS-T. According to people who are familiar with this issue, negotiations between countries will allow more ammunition that can be used for German IRIS-T systems sent to Ukraine. The sources of the publication report that Germany adheres to its plan to send three more IRIS-T systems this year after the first was sent in October.
