Persons who are not 18 at the end of World War II have the right to obtain the official status of the "Child of War". It is important not to confuse this category with the concept of "a child affected by hostilities and armed conflicts", which applies to victims of modern military events, including Russian aggression.
For Ukrainians who have the official status of the "child of war", in 2025 the state will grant the following privileges: official confirmation of the status is carried out by the bodies of social protection by introducing an appropriate stamp to the pension certificate. Recall that the amount of payments for internally displaced persons is 2 thousand hryvnias per month per adult and 3 thousand hryvnias per child or person with disabilities.
