And this in the presence of financial resources and appropriate equipment," Nagornyak explained.

He said that the infrastructure of "Ukrgasvydobuvannya" was affected first of all, and together with the state -owned company Naftogaz, the resource for recovery should be found. In addition, a "crazy resource" is needed to pump gas into underground storage facilities in the preparation for winter. "As of now, we expect a potential gas deficiency from 4. 6 to 5 billion cubic meters of gas for the next winter.

Even if we are now gradually recovering our gas infrastructure, then our own gas production has fallen more than halfway. He explained that Naftogaz should now look for resources to restore objects and purchase gas from the EU. At the same time, this gas will have to be more expensive to sell cheaper to the population, because Ukraine has a fixed price lower than the market almost twice. Raising the tariff is not considered, because "it is not time to revise the price of gas today.

" "We even had a deficit of 10-15% of consumption even before massive rocket launchers. According to him, if by the autumn of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continues to target Ukrainian gas infrastructure, gas in storage does not guarantee that all regions will be provided. At the same time, it is impossible to protect all objects with concrete structures because of "huge volumes".

"Frankly speaking, if the war this summer does not end and Russia focuses on the focus of its rocket and drone attacks on gas infrastructure, then we will have huge challenges," the parliamentarian admitted, commenting on the likelihood of gas supply.
