According to the creator of the messenger Pavel Durov, thousands of accounts were blocked in response to users' complaints, and dozens of messages did not reach their addressees. Next week, Telegram, Russia, Russia and Belarus, will be available to limit the range of those who can send them personal messages. This decision was made in connection with the complaints of Russian -speaking users for messages from strangers who contain calls for terrorist attacks.

The creator of Telegram Pavel Durov announced this on March 28. According to Durov, a number of technical and organizational measures were taken to prevent such activity in response to these complaints. "As a result, tens of thousands of attempts to send such messages were stopped, and thousands of users involved in this flash mob were faced with the eternal blocking of their Telegram accounts," Durov writes.

He noted that since the beginning of next week, all users from Russia, Ukraine and Belarus will be able to limit the list of sendering personal messages. "We are also implementing artificial intelligence solutions for even more effective filtration of unwanted messages. Telegram is not a place for unauthorized newsletters and calls for violence," Durov summed up.
