The cadets learn to manage tanks equipped with solid antitrone superstructures, which were nicknamed "Tanks-Sarai" or "Turtles". This was reported by "miller" observers with reference to a report in Roszma. Innovations in the course of preparation include exercises for maneuvering and interaction on the upgraded T-72B3 tank with a protective antitrone structure.
The observers noted that the superstructures are produced in a handicraft way by the tankers themselves or forces of military educational establishments, they consist of metal structures and nets. The report shows an example of a tank that allegedly kept up to hundreds of FPV-auctions. The disadvantage of this solution is that these elements significantly limit the field of view and the possibility of fire, but show high efficiency against percussion drones.
Preparation also covers underwater control, evacuation from a flooded machine and proper exit from the tank. Judging by the released personnel, crews will have drones at their disposal. Therefore, special attention is paid to driving drops, including FPV-diggers and drones of the Mavic type, which emphasizes the importance of modern tactics of interaction with drone on the battlefield.
"The concept of maximum protection of the tank at the cost of other characteristics was invented by the Russian military in the conditions of tactics of continuous assaults, where in the frontal attacks on the prepared positions they send equipment until it will deplete the defense," - wrote observers. Meanwhile, such machines mostly lose the opportunity to fire and take an active part in hostilities.
Therefore, the main task of this technique is to lay passes through the minefields and distract the enemy's fire on itself, playing the role of a kind of "icebreaker" for the rest of the column of armored vehicles. This is facilitated by the cladding of these machines, which includes metal sheets, steel nets and radio electronic suppression of drones, which makes them resistant to air attacks, but limits combat capabilities.
