Analysts named villages in Kurshchyna, near which the Armed Forces are successful or where battles with units of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are ongoing.

The conclusions are made on the basis of geolocation of videos, statements of Russian military bloggers and publications of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. According to the staff on the video, one of the promotions took place in the village of Vyshnevka, located on the southern bank of the Snagost River. The distance from the village of Snagost, which was previously controlled by Ukraine - more than 1 km.

Ahead, at a distance of about 3 km, another water obstacle is the River of the Seimas with destroyed bridges. The report lists 10 settlements near which fighting in the Kursk region as of August 19: if you mark these points on Google Maps, we see that the area of ​​the Russian Federation covered by battles - about 1 300 square meters. km. The maximum distance from the border to the line of fights is 25 km (the village of Skrylivka and Sheptukhivka).

It should be noted that in the report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces as of 20:00 on August 19 did not write about a breakthrough in the Kursk region. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy mentioned the situation in this direction.
