At the time of the tragedy, Elena Sivanich was in the German Cotbus as a part of the national team of Ukraine on a trampoline. As a result of Russia's rocket attack on Nikolaev, the victim of the attack was Elena Sivanich, the mother of the Ukrainian athlete Svetlana Malkova. The latter is now in Germany, where the selection for the Olympiad is held - 2024. This is stated in the press service of the Ministry of Youth and Sports. It is known that the regional center was hit the day before, March 21.

One of the hostile purposes struck by an industrial enterprise, which causes one person to die, six more were injured. 55-year-old Elena Sivanych was killed from the attack of the invaders. She was the mother of the Ukrainian athlete Svetlana Malkova. The woman was killed when her daughter was in a German Cotbus as part of the Ukrainian national team. There, March 22, the World Cup begins, this competition is licensed to participate in the 2024 Olympic Games.

The information about her mother's death was published by Svetlana Elena's sister on social networks. It is known that for the first time with jumping on the trampoline Malkova met in the sports complex of this enterprise in Nikolaev. Also there took place her first training on the way to big sports. Thus, as long as the International Olympic Committee is reflected in the possibility of admission of Russians to competitions, Russian troops continue to harm Ukraine and domestic sports.
