"They are Russian servicemen of the Far East, who are contracting military service," the Russian Federation Investigative Committee emphasized.
They also stated that the bodies were found in a private apartment building with gunshot wounds. The suspects were detained and taken to the investigative department. "Investigative and procedural actions aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the event, as well as securing the evidence base, are carried out," the investigation was added. In the aggressor country, they called the motive of the suspected "conflict on household soil".
